Paterno is Guilty? We may have to live with it.Fi

First off I'm the first one to to say that this is absurd and that Joe couldn't possibly have had anything to do with this let alone any kind of cover-up. He's was like a father figure to an entire generation of college football fans. It's like finding out your favorite Uncle didn't really like you. Joe Pa was always above all the scandals and cheating that so infected the NCAA, how could this be?. Well I hate to be the one to burst the bubble of our image of an American icon, but folks it sounds like Pa was a little greasier than we all had thought The facts are pouring in and it's going be hard to ignore the fact that coach new exactly what was going on. How he let this go unchecked is an insight into the man we all thought we knew. The only parallel to the sadness that I feel for the personal loss that Joe Paterno has caused all of us has got to be that of Pete Rose. The only difference is if it's true that Paterno helped cover this up then what Charlie Hustle did was no worse than stealing candy from a baby. If Paterno is able to walk away from this unscathed then you have to question exactly who isn't beyond reproach. To see Paterno go down will be sad, but what would really be sad is to see him get away with his deceit. OJ got away with murder, but still had to pay in civil court, it's not over by a long shot Mr. Paterno, coach no more.
